how to remove shadows from the model?

2 possible reasons for that

First:
(probably it's that)
the polys are doubled, they got an inside too,
and furthermore they are welded together.
WR2 and MTKit use smoothing on welded polys, so it makes the hard edges soft.
If doublesided polys are welded, smoothing makes it look that shXtty.

Solution:
Open 3d model with 3d software,
unify polys, make sure you only leave the ones facing outside,
save, Import




Second:

You have the Polygons of the outer part (car shape, door outside part)
welded to the inner parts (between car and door).

Open 3d model with 3d software,
cut outer part only,
(I mean all the polys of the door, car, roof,
but not the frames of the car, inner sides etc!)
paste back in
save, Import
